After graduating from High School in Jenks, Oklahoma, he attended the University of Oklahoma
and obtained his Bachelors Degree in 1990. Thereafter he attended The University of Tulsa
College of Law, where he obtained his law degree in 1993.
Don also undertook legal education at the University of San Diego School of Law, in 1992 where
he studied International and Comparative law in reference to the country of Mexico.
Michael L. McHugh is a seasoned attorney with over 28 years in the practice of law with expertise
representing executives at all levels of management, homeowners associations, debtors and
creditors in Chapters 7, 13 and 11 Bankruptcies, oil and gas, securities (limited partnerships,
private placements, IPO’s, fraud and compliance), state and federal court litigation, contracts, real
estate and residential construction including defect litigation. Success attributed to an analytical
